It is with sad hearts that we announce the passing of Emily Devlin.
Emily was raised one of seven children on the family farm near Eriksdale. She married Mike in 1959 and was the proud mom of three sons. Memorable times were spent at sporting events, the lake and around the family dinner table. Emily was quietly strong and loving, caring for and supporting each of us.
She will be missed by husband, Mike; her sons, Scot (Darlene), Kent (Donna), Doug (Lucy); grandchildren, Taylor (Travis), Kaly (Joel), Jessica (Jesse), Brenna (Mitchell), Calum (Quinn), Rhett (Sinclaire), Tanner (Charlene) and Micah (Kyle); great-grandchildren, Jack and Kaleb; extended family and many friends.
The family thanks the staff of Gimli Community Health Centre and Gimli Betel for their care and support.
A private Celebration of Life will be held.
If family or friends so desire, a donation in Emily’s memory may be made to the Devlin Family Legacy Fund through Westshore Community Foundation or to a charity of your choosing.
