Lorraine passed away January 4, 2024, at Kin Place Personal Care Home in Oakbank, MB.
She was predeceased by her husband Bill Pankewich, her sister Malvina Smerchynski, nephew Terry Smerchynski, brothers-in-law, Mike Smerchynski and Wally Stober.
She is survived by her sister Veronica Stober, nephews, Glenn and Rod (Brenda) Smerchynski, and Darcy Stober and niece Deanna (Mark) Rochat and several great-nieces, nephews and cousins.
A Memorial Service will be held on Friday, June 28 at 11:30 a.m. at Sobering Funeral Chapel, 1035 Park Avenue E., Beausejour with Father Karl Tarnopolski presiding. Interment will follow in St. John The Baptist Roman Catholic Cemetery in Hadashville, MB. Lunch will follow in the Chapel.
We thank Kin Place Personal Care Home for the excellent care, kindness and love shown to Lorraine. We also thank Sobering Funeral Chapel for all their help, compassion and kindness shown to us.
