Peacefully on June 13, 2024, Violet Bech passed away at Simkin Centre at the age of 89.
She is survived by her children, Thamsin (Don), Kelly, Bentley (Carrie), and Ramona; eight grandchildren; five great-grandsons; sister-in-law Mary Anne Beck; as well as numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.
She was predeceased by her parents, John and Mary; siblings, Polly (Joe), Anne, Dorothy, Peter, Helen, Merle (Eddie), and Nicholas; daughters-in-law, Natalie and Maryann; granddaughter Krista; and niece Laurie.
The family wishes to extend their appreciation to the staff in Simkin 1 who cared for mom and to Cathy Koroscil for her loving support and assistance in taking mom to her appointments.
In keeping with mom’s wishes there will be a private celebration of her life. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Anxiety Disorder Association of Manitoba (ADAM) adam.mb.ca
