Condolences & Memories (2 entries)

  • Auntie Norrie was always gentle, kind, thoughtful and considerate. Always interested in what you/everyone was up to. She was the last to boast and last to be aggressive. She was the first to offer a welcoming home for many Christmas or Grey Cup parties with Uncle Norm. Humble by stature and positive by demeanor. She was raised in challenging financial times in a generation that saw global wars and the invention of the TV, cell phone and computers. A lifelong journey that was mostly healthy and with purpose to all our families. The special memories from Jello to going to Lockport for a hotdog so many years ago and being the ultimate host always. Only disappointment is you didn't make it to 100! May God embrace your entrance. - Posted by: MARK MILLER (nephew) on: Jul 02, 2024

  • Dear Lenore's family, I am so sorry for your loss. I have so many fond memories of Uncle Norman and Lenore, especially of many visits to 703 Rathgar Avenue with my Mum, Norm's first cousin, Helen (Johannasson) Corbitt. Norm's Mum, Grace and my Mum's mother, Helen were first cousins. Lenore was such a caring, soft spoken and a genuinely blessed person. I lost touch with Lenore after my Mum's passing, but I will always treasure her memory, and will always keep Lenore in my heart. Marilyn Corbitt (second cousin to Norman). - Posted by: Marilyn Corbitt (Cousin) on: Jun 22, 2024
