In loving memory of Terrence Michael Papps. Terrence Michael Papps passed away peacefully at Fairview Personal Care Home, on Tuesday, June 18, 2024 at the age of 76 years.
Terrence was born July 14, 1947 in Chatham, ON to parents Lillian and Lyle Papps. In his early 20’s Terrence met Irene. Shortly after their meeting they relocated to Thompson where Terrence began working at Inco, a job he held for over 32 years until his retirement. After Irene’s passing, Terrence moved to Souris, MB and took a part-time job at the local gas station to keep busy.
Terrence loved spending time with his family, especially his grandchildren. Even with his rough exterior Terrence was always willing to help anyone in need, especially his family, no matter the problem. Terrence will always be remembered as a caring person, someone who did his best to maintain the family bond after Irene’s passing.
Terrence will be lovingly remembered by his children, Jeffery, Terry, Shannon, Melanie (Sean), Roxanne (Wes); 16 grandchildren and 2 great-grandchildren, with one more on the way; brothers, Tim, Lyle, Brad, Roger and Grant. He was predeceased by his parents, Lillian and Lyle, wife Irene and son William.
In keeping with Terrence’s wishes, cremation has taken place.
