It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of our beloved Dad, Pepère, and Grand-Pepère.
Lionel is survived by his loving wife of 70 years, Clara; his children: Rachel (Benoit Simard), Marcel (Sonya), Paulette (Mike Albo), Maurice (Pat), Rollie (Bob Meush); 11 grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren.
Dad was raised in Saint-Pierre-Jolys, Manitoba, where he met his wife Clara and they started their family before moving to St. Boniface, Manitoba. He was quite involved with his church and community.
We wish to sincerely thank the staff on the 3rd floor at Foyer Valade. They treated him like family.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Lionel’s memory to the Heart and Stroke Foundation.
A private family service will follow.
