It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of our Mother on June 29, 2024, at the age of 95.
Mom was predeceased by her husband Albert and will be sadly missed by her son David (Denise), daughters, Doreen (Peter), Brenda (Daniel), grandchildren, Kristin (Kerry), Cecily (Rob), Kaleigh (James), Dana (Stacey), Ashley (Mike), Sabrina and great-grandchildren, Calla, Hunter, and Braxsen.
Mom and Dad were together for 66 years, worked hard and had a good life. They raised three children in Fort Rouge on Fleet Street before moving to Charleswood. They had a cottage at Twin Lakes Beach which became their principal residence for many years while they also wintered in Arizona in their motorhomes over the years. She LOVE LOVE LOVED to dance and they did pattern and square dancing. She made the best pan fried lake perch and she loved chocolate.
Funeral services will be held on Monday, July 8, 2024, at 2:00 p.m. at Thomson “In the Park” Funeral Home, 1291 McGillivray Boulevard with interment to follow in Thomson “In the Park” Cemetery. Viewing will take place one hour prior to service.

Elsie was a beautiful sole who graced us with her kindness and love. She and I had so many laughs together. She taught me to make Perogies and Cabbage rolls. She tried to teach me to peel a potato with a knife and that was a complete disaster. To this day every time I peal a potato I can hear Elsie laughing. We had a lot of fun at the cottage. I almost drowned trying to waterski. I have wonderful memories with Elsie. I loved making Elsie laugh. She had such a great laugh.
