It is with great sadness we announce the passing of our mother Marion Galbraith. Marion was born in Carberry, Manitoba to Thomas John (Jack) Graham and Jessie Alice Wood.
She will be forever missed and lovingly remembered by her daughter Lauren (Jack) Dent and her son Graham Campbell; grandchildren, Melissa (Chris) Bray and John (Kelsey) Dent as well as her cherished great-grandchildren, Parker, Charlie Bray and Cooper Dent. She was predeceased by her husbands, Lorne Campbell and Jack R. Galbraith, her brother Bill Graham and sister Joyce Finlayson.
Marion worked at the City Hall in Portage la Prairie and later accepted a position as supervisor of the Tax Collection Department for the City of Winnipeg. During their retirement years Jack and Marion enjoyed many years of fun in the sun with her friends in Palm Springs and Arizona.
Marion lived her life with grace, integrity, and determination. She had a great sense of humour and provided unconditional love to her family. She was extremely proud to be able to live independently in her own condo until just six months ago.
Flowers are gratefully declined, if friends so wish donations can be made in Marion’s name to the Heart and Stroke Foundation.
A celebration of her life will be held on July 12, 2024, at 2:00 p.m. at Thomson in the Park, 1291 McGillivray Blvd.

Sorry to hear of Marion's passing. I worked with Marion in the 80's at the City of Winnipeg - local improvements. She was my supervisor. She wasn't just my supervisor she was also my friend. We often went for lunch. Even after she retired we would sometimes meet up for dinner. I am very glad she had a long healthy life. My condolences to her family - Posted by: Karen (co worker) on: Jul 12, 2024

I am so sad to hear of Marion's passing. She was a gracious lady with a great sense of humour and always a delight to visit. I loved growing up hearing the stories my mom told of time with her cousins, and as an adult it was a joy to have Marion share her own tales of their times together. I have fond memories of her and a special admiration of her initiative in planning and hosting an extended family reunion at her farm. My condolences to all her family. - Posted by: Catherine (family cousin) on: Jul 10, 2024
