DENIS JOUBERT
It is with deep sadness that we announce the passing of Denis Joubert, aged 100 years, at Repos Jolys in St. Pierre-Jolys, Manitoba on May 30, 2024.
He will be lovingly remembered by his sister Rose Girard; by his children, Madeleine Bédard (Jean), Joseph (Patricia), and Maurice (Michelle Burrows); by his grandchildren, Marcel Bédard (Brittany Byron), Caroline Bédard, Marc Joubert, Renelle Joubert (Justin Lam), Chris Burrows, Ashley Burrows (Jeff Schalla); by his great-grandchildren, Théa Bédard, Léo Bédard, Sapphire Burrows, Jax Burrows, and by numerous nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his wife of 50 years, Dorothée (née Courcelles); by his parents, Xavier and Eléonore (Laroche), brothers and sisters-in-law: Augustin, Jean-Marie (Marguerite Dillaire), Joseph (Mélina Fontaine and Hélène Noels), Louis (Aurise Nault), Léon (Gertrude Tétrault), Michel, Xavier; sisters and brothers-in-law: Marguerite, Jeanne (Frank Vinet), and Léopold Girard.
Cremation has taken place and a Mass of the Resurrection will be celebrated by Father Marcel Carrière in the St. Pierre-Jolys Catholic Church on Friday July 26, 2024, at 11:00 a.m. Interment to follow at the St. Pierre-Jolys Cemetery.
