MARIA BOREK
It is with great sadness that the family of Maria Borek announce her peaceful passing on Wednesday, July 10, 2024, at the age of 92.
Lovingly remembered by her daughters, Edith (Tom) Parent and Lisa (Ken) Mallette, seven grandchildren and 13 great-grandchildren.
Mom was predeceased by her husband Jerzy; her daughter Irene and son-in-law Derek.
Born in Munnerstadt, Germany and immigrated to Canada with her husband and baby daughter in 1951 in search of a better life.
A viewing and service will be held at Klassen Funeral Home located at 1897 Henderson Hwy., Winnipeg on Wednesday, July 17 at 12:00 p.m.
