  • Bobby was my cousin. My father Fred Scardina, was brother to Bobby's father, Sam, a man that I admired. During our family’s regular outings to Winnipeg Beach, as a child, I would often seek out and find Bobby enjoying the day with his friends. He being a teen, I can only imagine the aggrevation having a kid like me pestering him and his friends must have created. Still, not once did he have anything but time, a smile and encouraging words for me. His kindness and caring has guided me during my life as a lesson of how to treat others. It is a reminder of the difference and lasting impact kindness can make in this world, even in the briefest of encounters. - Posted by: Derrick Piett (Cousin) on: Jul 14, 2024
