It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of our dear father, on July 5, 2024, at Grace Hospital, in Winnipeg, MB Canada, at the age of 94 years.
A Celebration of Life will be held in the fall, for Gerry and Marlene Tyler.

We are saddened to hear of Gerry Tyler's passing. He was a kind, loving, caring loyal person. A proud father, loving husband and kindhearted grandfather. To me, he was a dear family friend to our parents. Always there to provide help if needed. Loved driving around in his car, showing off the neighborhood sites. Our sympathy to the Tyler family. Gerry Tyler and his late wife, Marlene were good friends of my parents. From memories of school days in Winnipeg to ongoing contact as both families lived in Minnesota and Texas later, the Tylers continued to be close friends of my parents. Gerry's gentle manner and generous nature remain in my memories to this day. His fondness for old radio shows and mixing the occasional Stinger come to mind when reflecting on the many years of friendship between our respective families. I offer sincere condolences to Grant, Michelle and the rest of the family. May Gerry rest in peace.
