Elfriede was daughter of Reinhold and Marie Hintz. Life’s partner to Henry Samuel Rattai for 52 years. Wonderful Mother of Ruth Christian (William), Beverley Buss (Erhard) and Gerhard Rattai. Oma to five grandchildren: Bryan Buss, Laura Nuttall (Buss), Sheena Rattai, Samantha Kendrick (Joe) and Lucas Rattai (Delaine) and Great Oma to nine great-grandchildren.
Mom was a wonderful giving, praying, faith filled, and caring lady.
She will be missed by all who knew her.
Celebration of Life service will be held on Monday, July 22, 2024, at 6:30 p.m. at My Church Winnipeg, 955 Wilkes Ave. The Service will be live streamed. Refreshments available following the service.
In lieu of flowers, please feel free to donate to My Church Winnipeg Building Fund.

My condolences to Elfreida's families. May she Rest in Peace with her Savior, Jesus Christ. I got to know her when I was attending Immanuel. She & Henry welcomed me & my husband Richard (Tiny) to the church with open arms. I really appreciated her sharing her faith & friendship with me. I'm glad that the family has decided to live-stream the service as I'm unable to drive at this time. Our condolences go out to the Rattai Family and the Hintz Family. Frieda will be known as a wonderful caring Christian Person that cared for others. I know that when my mom was in care and after she became a widow , Frieda called mom at least 2 x a week to see if she was okay. Very thoughtful. She was also a very friendly person that did so much for others and God will reward her for that. Rest in Peace Frieda and now you are back with Henry and parents and a few siblings.
