Our Loulou
It is with very heavy hearts that we share that on the early morning of Saturday, July 13, 2024, our precious Little Loulou left us to join her loved ones in heaven.
Desiree Dawn Alexis Braconnier was born on April 15, 1999, at the Victoria General Hospital in Winnipeg, MB. She was immediately nicknamed Loulou and it stuck for life. Her amazing big brother loved her the second he met her.
We relocated to Brandon, MB, in June 2000. She attended Waverly Park School and graduated from Neelin High School. She then relocated to Minnedosa, MB, in 2019 to be closer to the love of her life. She was lovingly welcomed into the Popien family. Desiree’s spicy spirit and infectious laugh touched us all.
Des will be forever loved and dearly missed by her fiancé, Jordan Popien, their fur babies Max and Zuke Popien, her mother and step dad Doris and Alec Kehler, her father Roland Braconnier and his partner Gina, her idol and big brother Jessy Braconnier and his wife Rheanne Robert, her grandmas Yvonne L’Heureux and Doris Bouvier, Kellie and Lyle Popien, Josh (Kailey), Christian (Kaydence), numerous aunties, uncles, cousins, friends, co-workers and of course all her dearly loved kiddos at the daycare. Loulou was predeceased by her Grandpa Bouvier, Pepere L’Heureux and her Uncle Knobby.
A Celebration of Life will take place on Saturday, July 27, 2024 at 1:30 p.m. at the Minnedosa Community Conference Centre, Minnedosa, MB. Interment will take place in the Minnedosa Cemetery, Minnedosa, MB.
Donations in Desiree’s memory may be made to Heart & Stroke Foundation of Manitoba or A Tail to Tell Frontline Rescue.
