It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of our Mother, Oma and Great-Oma.
She wore many hats in her lifetime, nurse, wife, mother, ran and worked the family farm, was a small business owner, volunteered, and finally a caregiver. The constant denominator was a life lived in the service of others.
Mom/Oma always said she was a millionaire, rich in the love and happiness she received from her family and friends. We are all poorer from her loss.
We will all miss her dearly, but our memories of her will provide the light to burn away the darkness of her passing.
We love you and know you are living a new beautiful life with Dad now.
Cathy was predeceased by her husband of 58 years John. She is survived by her children, Meg, Peter, Russell (Jeanine), Carolyn (Dennis), and Tim (Krista); her grandchildren, Jessica (Vic), Amanda (A.J.), Kurtis, Sydney, and Shelby; her great-grandchildren, Emery, Flora and Melody.
Enough cannot be said about the staff at Seine River Retirement Residence for their hard work, love, care and commitment to their residents, they are truly amazing. Thank you.
Special thanks to the staff at Concordia Hospital for their care of our mother in her final days.
