HARI-ALFONS WICHA
It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of my twin brother, Hari-Alfons Wicha on Monday, July 22, 2024, at his residence. He went peacefully in his sleep to be with his Lord.
Hari was predeceased by his parents, Erika Wicha (nee Kriese) in 1996 and Ernst Wicha in 2006, and older brother Hart Stefan on November 8, 2022 (USA).
Hari is survived by his twin sister Ursula Kehler (Peter); nephews, Roland Kehler (Terri), and Len Kehler (Masa), niece Terri Nevarez (Eddie), uncle Helmut Wicha (Elenore), aunt Olive in BC, aunt Ruth in Germany, and many cousins in Canada, USA and abroad. He will be greatly missed by his family and friends!
Hari was very talented in music which became his passion. Not only did he sing, but he also directed choir for many years, taught many students, and composed music pieces. Later in life, Hari took up culinary school to become an amazing chef.
A funeral service will take place on Thursday, August 8, 2024 at 7:00 p.m. at Friends Funeral Service, 2146 Main Street, Winnipeg, with viewing prior to the service.
