It is with great sadness that we announce the sudden passing of Glenda Shepherd (nee Storms), our dear mother and grandmother on June 1, 2024, at the age of 71.
Glenda was predeceased by her loving husband, James in 2008, and her parents, Glen and Margaret, and sister Sharon.
Left to mourn her passing and cherish her memory are her children, Scott (Shelley) and Tara (Tyler); and grandchildren, Kinsey, Aidan, Hannah and Lexi.
In accordance with Glenda’s wishes, no formal service will be held.
In lieu of flowers, a donation to the Heart and Stoke Foundation of Canada is appreciated.

Glenda was the voice of the Winnipeg Teachers' Association. For 25 years she was the person who answered the phone. She was approachable, kind, funny, and knowledgeable, and knew where to direct out enquiries. It was a pleasure to know and work with Glenda. There was never a dull day at the office with Glenda’s smiling face and witty banter. I was privileged to know Glenda and teach her children.
