Lucille passed away on July 30th, 2024 at the age of 84.
She is survived by her son, Doug Hansen (Claudine) and her grandchildren, Haley Hansen (Jason and Amelia) and Mitch Hansen (Selma), as well as many nieces, nephews and other extended family (Stewart (Loretta) and their children Scott (Jennifer and their children Sarah, Kayla, and Emily) And Michael (Michelle)).
She was predeceased by the love of her life, Howard Kilfoyle, her children, Brent Robertson and Brenda Kennedy as well as her grandchild, Deryk, and her brother and sisters.
Lucille was born in Stettler, Alberta. She lived in Edmonton for 10 years before moving to Winnipeg in 1970, where she worked at the St. James Legion as the manager for many years before retiring. After retirement she enjoyed spending time with friends and family, watching CFL football and golf.
As were her wishes, cremation has taken place and there will not be a service.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to a charity of your choice.

I am sorry to hear of your mom’s passing. I met Lucille in 1975 at the St. James Legion. We worked together & became good friends. We had a lot of laughs together, that’s for sure. She is now at peace & with her loved ones that left before her. Doug & Claudine & family just know your mom & grandma loved you guys so very much. She was so proud of all of you.
