We are deeply saddened to announce on July 26, 2024, the passing of our Mother, Baba, Great-Baba and Great-Great-Baba.
She will be greatly missed by her boys and numerous family and dear friends.
Mom led a simple life and didn’t obsess about material things and rather found her own happiness in moments with family and friends whether it was going out for dinner, coffee or talking on the phone for hours.
She was kind, generous and took great joy in any of her groups’ success and was always there to lift us up when we needed it the most. We can all take comfort in knowing she is on her journey to meet with those she has missed for so long.
Mom was always a pay it forward type and if she would have a wish, it would be that you give the gift of kindness; it would bring us all peace to have you pay it forward to anyone and everyone you can.
A special thank you to all the workers at Health Sciences Centre GH5 unit. Your kindness and tender care helped us know she was well taken care of.
Thank you to all that came to visit her at HSC. It broke up her time to have visits with those she loved.
A viewing will be held at 7:00 p.m. on August 11, 2024 at Friends Funeral Service, 2146 Main Street, Winnipeg. The funeral service will be held at 11:00 a.m., August 13, 2024, at Sts. Peter and Paul Ukrainian Catholic Church, Rorketon, Manitoba.
