LLOYD KITZ

October 27, 1948 – August 3, 2024

It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Lloyd, who grew up in Crandall, Manitoba.

Always looking for adventure, he moved to Northern Manitoba to work before settling in Brandon. He worked for the Brandon School Division for many years before retiring. In Brandon, he met his wife, Linda and started a family, welcoming their daughter, Stacey. He was always proud of his family’s accomplishments. Always quick with a smile and laugh, he will be missed by those whose life he touched.

He was predeceased by his parents Robert and Jean Kitz.

He is survived by his loving wife, Linda, daughter, Dr. Stacey Kitz (Dr. Clint Wong) and his grandchildren: Carter, Hannah and Delaney Wong. He is also survived by his siblings: Donald (Marion) Kitz, Lillian (Jerry) Mozden, and June (David) Craig along with his nieces and nephews.

We would like to acknowledge the compassionate care he received at Dinsdale Personal Care Home, particularly in his final days. He passed peacefully surrounded by family, listening to his favourite music.

Over the years, we have received support from the Alzheimer Society of Manitoba, however, a donation to a charity of your choice is also appreciated.

The Celebration of Lloyd’s Life will take place at Trinity United Church, 1515 6th Street, on Friday, August 16, 2024, at 1:30 p.m.
