Wayne passed away suddenly, but peacefully with his family by his side holding his hand on Monday, July 1, 2024.
Left to cherish his memory are his wife Patricia (nee Scott) and his children, Ryan and Eryn, as well as his brother Greg and wife Cindy, his sister-in-law Beth and numerous nieces and nephews.
Wayne was predeceased by his parents, Jean and James (Jim) Butterfield, his in-laws, Winnifred and Watson Scott, sister Shirley Jensen, brothers, Ron, Howard and Stuart, brother-in-law Morris Jensen, sisters-in-law, Dorreen Butterfield and Judith Murta.
A Celebration of Life will be held Saturday, August 17, 2024, at 3:00 p.m. at the Bird’s Hill Park Ranch, 30 Nimowin Road. Interment will take place at a later date.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Manitoba Horse Council Equestrian Facility.
