On Sunday, August 11, 2024, at age 96, at St. Boniface Hospital, our beloved husband, father, grandfather, and great-grandfather went to his eternal home. His trust in the Lord carried him through life.
John is survived by his wife Norma, four children, nine grandchildren, and two great-grandchildren. He was predeceased by his first wife Helen.
A Celebration of Life will be held at 11:00 a.m., on Saturday, August 17, 2024, at Friends Funeral Service, 2146 Main Street, Winnipeg, with viewing at 10:00 a.m. Interment at Glen Eden Cemetery.
Memorial donations may be made in memory of John to Donwood Chaplaincy or Donwood Foundation.
