GORDON KIZUIK
With sadness we announce the passing of Gordon Kizuik on August 5, 2024 at the age of 89, while at the Betel Personal Care Home in Selkirk, Manitoba.
He will be lovingly missed by his wife Barbara of 64 years, and his son Derek (Janine), daughter Debra (Albert) Roy and grandchildren, Alysia, Mason, Jacob and numerous nieces and nephews.
Gordon was predeceased by his father and mother, Nicholas and Victoria and brothers, Thomas (Muriel), George (Lillian), William (Norma) and sisters, Mildred (Lorne) Kreamer, Frances (Roy) Taylor.
Gordon enjoyed hunting and fishing with his brother Tommy and friends, as well as golfing. In the winter he enjoyed curling and volunteering at the Petersfield Curling Club for 50 years in which he was president for a time. He spent many weekends participating in bonspiels at the Petersfield Curling Club and other various curling clubs.
We would like to thank the staff at the Betel Personal Care Home for the friendship and care that they had given him.
Funeral service will be held on Friday, August 23, 2024 at the Gilbart Funeral Chapel in Selkirk, Manitoba at 11:00 a.m.
