ALYSSA RENEE INOCENCIO ILAGAN

September 19, 2005 - August 6, 2024

It is with a heavy heart that we announce the passing of our beautiful daughter Alyssa Renee Inocencio Ilagan, who was taken from us too soon on August 6, 2024, at the tender age of 18 years old.

Alyssa, affectionately know as Aly, came into our lives on September 19, 2005, a sweet angel with cheerful bright eyes. She was an enthusiastic, a happy-go-lucky young woman with a creative streak, perpetual smile and a bubbly contagious laugh. She brought immeasurable joy and light to those who knew her. Her bright personality always shined wherever she was.

Aly was compassionate and kind-hearted. She could be relied on upon to comfort those who needed it with her words of encouragement and uplifting spirit. She lived her life to the fullest embracing all her experiences with laughter and exuberance. She was excited to begin her life as a nursing student this fall, eager to follow in her parent’s footsteps. Truly, she was at the cusp of a hopeful and promising future.

Aly had a creative and lucrative pursuits that kept her busy. Her perseverance and hard work ethic included having her own in-home business as a lash technician as well as working at Planet Fitness and Steve Madden. Although her life was full of activity with work and socializing with countless friends she loved, her greatest joys focused on the time shared with her immediate family and the unconditional love surrounding her.

She leaves behind loving parents and biggest supporters Reidel and Shirley, big sister and best friend Alexa, big brother and protector Brendan, Grandmothers Lola Ellen Ilagan and Lola Lettie Inocencio, Uncle Reuben, Auntie Emma (Jenna, Jorga, Jessica), Auntie Rachel and Uncle Sean (Kahleia, Kana), Uncle Rhon, Auntie Jackie (Sariel, Stasia), Uncle Rowen and Auntie Kerri (Abi and Ari). Uncle Jhay and Auntie Sherlyn (Jairen, Javen, Jerico), numerous Uncles, Aunts and cousins, extended family in Winnipeg and Philippines. She was predeceased by her Grandfathers Lolo Primo Inocencio and Lolo Bienvenido Ilagan.

Aly, you were called back by GOD much too soon, you lived life to the fullest in your 18 years and we are grateful for the short time we had to experience your beautiful shining soul. You will be forever loved and missed.

Our family would like to extend gratitude and heartfelt thanks to the Doctors and Nurses at the Health Sciences Centre ER for there heroic efforts.

Condolences & Memories (3 entries)

  • Alyssa was a ray of sunshine, she always made my day at work better. She was meticulous in the things she did, always taking the time and care to have them done right regardless of how long that took. Always with a smile. She was funny, but not in a ha ha kind of way, in a way that was sweet and loving. She cared for everyone. She made their lives better. She made mine better. I am so sorry for your loss, she was taken far too soon and although I do believe in God.. sometimes I don’t understand Him. This is one of those times. - Posted by: Jason (Friend / Coworker) on: Aug 21, 2024
