JO-ANN HUGHES
With heavy hearts, the family of Jo-Ann Lyn Hughes announce her passing on August 9, 2024, at the age of 76.
Jo-Ann is survived by her sons, Shawn (Lori) and Tim, granddaughters, Jadyn and Abbie as well as close friends Louise, Joanne, Marion and their families.
She was predeceased by her beloved husband David, parents, Wilfred and Elizabeth, father and mother-in-law, Ted and Mary, and sisters-in-law, Dian and Joanne.
As per her wishes, there will be no service.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Health Sciences Centre Foundation, Seven Oaks General Hospital Foundation, Diabetes Canada or Crohn’s and Colitis Canada.

As the oldest … & the wisest surviving female of the Hughes Clan Jo-Ann became the “glue” that kept our small family in tune and in touch. She did it with grace, humor & loads of love. The love she had for her family & friends was nothing short of amazing! Jo-Ann was kind, considerate and always ready to lend a sympathetic ear, a soft shoulder & endless amounts of smiles & support.
