ALEXANDER (SANDY) JAMES STEELE
Words will never capture the immense sadness we have to announce the passing of beloved husband, caring father, doting grandpa, brother, uncle, nephew, cousin, and friend.
A celebration of Sandy’s life will be held at the Abundant Life Chapel on September 9, 2024, at 1:00 p.m., 90 Fourth St., Lac du Bonnet, MB.

Dear Evelyn and family, so sorry for your loss. Sandy was a once in a lifetime force! He lived with a passion and was so adventurous in his younger years. I had the privilege to be in a circle of friends in my teens in which Sandy was a part of. He was fun, exciting and knew how to have a good time. I got to do some camping trips with him and he was a really good wood chopper and a great fisherman. He knew how to cook up a good meal over a fire. Later years it was great during this time for my kids to meet Sandy and Evelyn and they always had a great time swimming in their pool. My son Alec remembers Sandy taking him out metal detecting. Evelyn taught my daughter Raylene how to make homemade apple pies. He was a proud Scotsman and loved his Scottish heritage. Sandy had a great collection of Inuit stone carvings and beautiful Aboriginal Art. Sandy had the gift of talking and was well educated on many topics of discussion.
