DONNA VALDINE BRITTON

September 14, 1948 - August 15, 2024

It is with great sadness that we announce the unexpected passing of our beloved Wife, Mother, Amma, and Sister Donna Britton at the age of 75.

She will be lovingly remembered by her husband of 40 years Barry Rousseau, daughter Lauren Hogue (Kyle), grandbabies Briar and Remi, sister Judy Schilling as well as numerous relatives and friends. She was predeceased by her parents Norman and Jonina Britton.

Donna was patient, kind, generous, and the unconditional love she had for her family was clear to all she met. She enjoyed good food and took pride in her garden. Donna grew up in Winnipeg and obtained her Masters in Nursing. She spent most of her life as a Clinical Nurse Specialist providing comfort and support to those suffering from cancer at numerous facilities including Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Centre (New York) and the Health Sciences Centre.

Her smile and quiet strength will be deeply missed.

A private Celebration of her Life will be held at a later date.
