While Don was seemingly quiet he had a great sense of humor, and a keen observer with wisdom. Sadly missed. Shocked. Patti (Mondor), our youngest sister commented we grew up together with Lil n Don with their little boys often coming to the farm. Patti, Elias and Phil send sympathy. Paul and I also received great kindness and hospitality enroute to Churchill. We drove to Thompson and stayed with you two, Lily" again genuine family visiting. While our times as adults were not frequent, funerals mostly, it always hits a warm spot in our hearts to have seen you two inseparables. Dear Lilian, Richard, Daryl and family our deepest sympathy. Please reach out any time to the phone # above anytime. We live in Winnipeg - always welcome anyone. Gentle hugs, forever in our family history. - Posted by: Connie Bart Hamel and Paul Hamel (cousin - daughter of Frank and Ann Bart) on: Aug 31, 2024

My deepest sympathies to Lil and family on Don's passing. We lived next door to them in Thompson and have some great memories of the family both living next door and out at Paint Lake. - Posted by: Patricia Anne Isherwood (Friend and former neighbour) on: Aug 31, 2024
