So sorry to hear of Ernie`s passing. Sincere condolences to Darlene, Lee and Helen, Sherry and Brad and families and of course his many, many friends. I worked for Ernie in the 70s and had many conversations and a few laughs over the years. He always had that grin or smile along with a very positive attitude and had everybody's back. I always felt comfortable any time I saw him and we spoke. - Posted by: TIM ANDERSON (FRIEND AND COWORKER) on: Sep 18, 2024

To Darlene & Family: We were sorry to see the notice of Ernie's passing. We came to know Ernie through community club hockey. It's difficult to realize that so many years have gone by. Ernie always had a ready smile and friendly manner. He was a friend to everyone. Our condolences to the family. We hope that fond memories will bring peace. I met Ernie many years ago at Kileen Glass. We both moved out of Manitoba & reconnected in 1991. At that time Ernie was Security Glass with Darlene. We did some business but more retained a friendship over many years. If someone needed glass, I would say go see Ernie & this continued thru to Hitech, Just a wonderful, kind generous man. Our conversations were with humor, memories & just plain honesty. I will miss dealing with him but more being able to say to people: see Ernie, he will look after you!! Darlene, Lee & Sherri, my thoughts are with you. Wally Mclean - Posted by: wallace mclean (business friend) on: Sep 03, 2024
