  • On behalf of my departed wife Rita (Oswald) Allison, (sister to Murray’s mother Winnifred (Oswald) Leighton), and our children Karen and Wendy, we are deeply saddend by Murray’s passing and sympathize with the difficult journey Michelle and family endured with his illness. Years ago when we lived in Winnipeg Rita and I spent many an enjoyable social time with the Leightons. Unfortunately, business relocations separated our families but we remained in close contact, enjoyed vacation visits and were able to follow Murray’s achievements. Our last time together was many years ago when Murray visited us in Vancouver. His bubbly personality will be greatly missed. • I was saddened to read of Murray passing. We worked several years together at Canital granite. I knew him as an astute businessman and an all round good person. Ah, memories, cherish them Michelle. - Posted by: Brian Preston (Friend and co- worker ) on: Aug 31, 2024
