With deep sadness we share the peaceful passing of Beryl Horning at age 85, with her family by her side on Tuesday, August 27, 2024.
She was predeceased by her husband Don in 2009; her parents, Abe and Anne Loewen; her sisters and brothers, Bernice, Beverley, John, and Peter; her brothers and sisters-in-law, Jack Horning, Bill and Annette Horning, Art Battersby, and George Butcher.
Mom is lovingly remembered by her family; daughter Krista (Vince), son Boyd (Shanne), grandchildren, Bryce, Logan, Harley, and Dylan, her sister Dolores Battersby, sister-in-law Lillian Horning, many cousins, nieces, nephews and friends.
Mom grew up in southwest Manitoba and after finishing high school in Killarney pursued her career in nursing as an LPN. She married Don in 1964 and they enjoyed life in Saskatoon, The Pas, Thompson, and Winnipeg.
Service will take place on September 5, 2024 at 2:00 p.m. at Chapel Lawn Funeral Home, 4000 Portage Avenue.
