Jean Wowryk of Brandon, formerly of Shoal Lake, passed away on Wednesday, September 4, 2024 at the age of 96 years.

Jean is survived by her son Larry (Deb) Wowryk of Shoal Lake and their daughter Courtney Wowryk of Winnipeg, daughter Julie (Earl) Glabush of Brandon, sisters: Elsie (Zane) Luhowy of St. Thomas, ON, Sylvia (Bernie) Zdrill of Winnipeg, Doreen (Gerald) Marko of Anola, Helen Wark of Langford, BC and brother Larry (Barb) Peech of Middlechurch.

The funeral service will be held Saturday, September 14, 2024 at 1:00 p.m. from St. Helen’s Roman Catholic Church, Shoal Lake with interment following in the parish cemetery. Fr. Jose Cabril will officiate.

If friends so desire, donations may be made to The Shoal Lake Community Foundation, PO Box 323, Shoal Lake, MB R0J 1Z0.
