Kathryn Allana Dick passed away peacefully on August 15, 2024, surrounded by her family. She was beautifully unique and will be deeply missed by all who knew her. She was 48.
In her final days, Kay received compassionate care at St. Boniface Hospital Intensive Care Unit, but the severity of her seizure disorder proved insurmountable.
Kathryn lived her whole life in Winnipeg, When she turned 21, she moved from her family home to her own home where she lived the next 27 years in the care of Epic Opportunities.
From birth, Kathryn lived with daily medical challenges. She taught those around her valuable lessons about strength, joy and perseverance.
Kay is survived by her mother, Lynda Dick; her father, Robert Dick; her sisters, Michal-Joan (Mark) Jenkinson and Pamela (Brian) Rempel; her niece, Audrey Jenkinson; and her aunt, Jane Dick.
A Celebration of Kathryn's Life will be held on Saturday, September 28, 2024, at 2:00 p.m. at Whyte Ridge Baptist Church, 2405 McGillivray Blvd., Winnipeg.
