• So sorry to hear of Steve's passing in September. Raising our families in River West Park, and working for the same Police Service; I saw a lot of Steve and his family. What I remember most about Steve was how well suited he was, later in his career, as a Wellness Officer, reaching out to those who had lost a loved me, and navigating Death Benefits at such a tough time in their lives. • Steve & I go way back to our early teen years at Lester Beach. Even as a youth he had the uncanny ability to calm, or to make one feel in control of a sticky situation. His expertise within the police realm was paramount & he loved what he did. I had the opportunity to chat with him whenever he was at the airport & our conversations usually were about his family of which he was so proud. He was a wonderful person!
