It is with heavy hearts that the family announce the passing of our husband, dad and grandpa, Joe, on September 9, 2024, after a lengthy illness at the St. Boniface Hospital at the age of 95.
Joe will be sadly missed and lovingly remembered by his beloved wife Eleanor (nee Ruta), his children, Rick (Mae), Jeff and Darrell as well as his grandchildren, Kylie and Brett.
Funeral Mass will be held on Tuesday, September 17, 2024 at 11:00 a.m. at St. Michael’s Roman Catholic Church, Cooks Creek, Manitoba. Viewing will be prior to the service. Interment to follow at the parish cemetery.

At my first job right out of college, I worked with Rick at Sperry Defense Systems (and we went through several corporate name changes in the 80s and 90s: Unisys/Paramax/Loral/Lockheed Martin). Sorry for your loss Rick. (On July 5th, my Mom passed away). Condolences to you and your family on the passing of your Dad.
