Sadly, after a year long battle with cancer Ruth passed away surrounded by loving family.
She was predeceased by her parents Nick and Nellie Shumski, and brothers in-law, Morris and Eddie.
She is survived by her husband of 50 years Lester; daughters, Sheila (Geoff), and Syndi; grandson Vinsent; siblings, Sylvia, Elsie, David (Phyllis), Ron (Louisa) and their families.
After retiring from the Canada Revenue Agency she enjoyed working in her organic garden.
A Memorial Service will take place on Saturday, September 21, 2024 at 10:00 a.m. and the service will be held at Glen Eden Funeral Home, 4477 Main Street, West St. Paul, MB.
