I had the fortune of meeting Luanne through my work at ChezRachel. I was impressed by Luanne as a social worker and incredible human being. Her intelligence, kindness, compassion and dedication to her work was outstanding. I loved collaborating with her and fondly remember my last lunch with her just before she retired and left on her amazing trip. I send my heartfelt condolences to her family and all those dear to her. She often spoke to me about her family with so much love. We will miss her but her memory lives on. I am thinking of you, Sonia Grmela - Posted by: Sonia Grmela (we collaborated through work) on: Oct 04, 2024

I've tried to find the words to describe Luanne and how much our personal friendship, as well as our professional relationship, means to me. She touched so many lives, made such positive impact and did so with compassion, respect and patience. I will smile when I think of her and am grateful for the times we spent together. My sincere condolences to her family and friends. Luanne was one of a kind! - Posted by: Sue Wilton (friend and colleague) on: Oct 04, 2024

Luanne was one of the most kind hearted people I have ever met. What started as a professional relationship developed into a wonderful friendship. Not only was Luanne there for my children at Lavallee but she was also a part of my granddaughter's life at St. George. She truly put her heart and soul into her work. She'll be missed so much. Our thoughts go out to everyone whose lives were touched in some way by Luanne. - Posted by: Margaret Pratt (Friend) on: Sep 28, 2024

Leanne was a passionate advocate for all the children and families she crossed paths with in her role as a social worker. I had the privilege of working with her, and saw that passionate mirrored in her role as parent, grandparent and family member. I offer my sincere condolences to all her family and loved ones. It is a privilege to have known, and worked with such a gifted human being. - Posted by: Reid Hartry (Work colleague ) on: Sep 28, 2024
