Howard Joseph "Joe" Davis passed away on Wednesday, October 2, 2024, at the Brandon Regional Health Centre.
Joe was born and raised in Brandon, Manitoba.
He was a hardworking individual who dedicated many years to his profession, first working at Burns and later for Paul’s Hauling. Joe’s commitment to his career was recognized through his membership in the Million Mile Club, and in 1999, he was awarded Driver of the Year with Paul’s Hauling.
Outside of work, Joe enjoyed fishing, golfing, and playing crib. He was a dedicated fan of the Toronto Maple Leafs and a loyal supporter of his hometown team, holding season tickets for the Brandon Wheat Kings.
Joe is survived by his wife, Robin; his children, Brayden (Alyssa) Davis, Bryce (Lisa) Davis, and Farryn (Shawn) Ryckman; and his grandchildren, Ashlyn, Hadley, Soren, Carter, Reece, Hayes, and Joey.
A private family graveside service has taken place.
Donations in memory of Joe may be made to the Multiple Sclerosis Society of Canada, 100 – 1465 Buffalo Place, Winnipeg, MB R3T 1L8.
