On September 25, 2024, at the age of 76, our mother Cecelia passed away at Riverview Health Centre following a year-long fight with cancer.
Cecelia was born Cecelia Beatrice Piasecki on September 9, 1948 in Winnipeg. Allan Rogers, her firstborn, predeceased her in 2002. She is survived by her son James James (Margaret); daughter Pamela James (Chris); and loving grandchildren. It was Cecelia's wish that we use our common surname in remembering her. Many knew her as Cecelia Stanley.
A Celebration of Life will be held at 4:00 p.m. on October 5, at the Bronx Park Community Centre.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Women’s Health Clinic in Winnipeg.
