On the early morning of Thursday, October 3, 2024, at the Stonewall Hospital, with her daughter Brenda by her side, Carol Woychyshyn transitioned to be “Out Among the Stars” to reunite with her beloved son Jason, husband Jack and all the other relatives who went before her.
Carol was born on March 2, 1946, she spent her childhood in Meleb and her adult life in Lockport.
Carol was a very sweet, caring and giving lady, putting others needs ahead of her own. She loved being outdoors in the garden and tending to her flower beds. She also enjoyed spending her time in the kitchen making perogies, beet leaf buns, holopchi and baking as well as sewing and knitting/crocheting, watching Jets hockey and listening to old time country music, especially Waylon Jennings and Keith Whitley.
Funeral Mass will be held on Tuesday, October 8, 2024, at 10:30 a.m. in the Blessed Virgin Mary Ukrainian Catholic Church, Rossdale, MB. Viewing will take place at 10:00 a.m.
