ANNE HENTON-ALLEN


Peacefully on October 6, 2024, Anne Henton-Allen passed away with family at her side. Anne was born June 15, 1933, to mother Mary Desjarlais and father James Collins.

She was predeceased by husband, Ernie Henton (1983), her second husband, Laurie Allen (2002), and her daughter, Colleen Lang (2019).

Together Ernie and Anne raised four amazing, beautiful, talented, and sarcastic daughters. She will be lovingly remembered by her daughters, grandchildren, and friends - Dawna and Peter Kroeker and children: Jennifer (Ryan), Kathryn, Ian (Jasmine), Mason, Julian (Sarah), Emily and Zachary; son-in-law Gary Lang (Colleen) and children: Janelle and Luke and one great-grandchild; Bernice Anderson and children: Randi, Matthew (Kim), Collin, Isaac and Harmony and one great-grandchild; Janice and Al Carriere and children: Tyler, Jesse, Jacob and Sarah.

She was an active member of North Kildonan United Church for many years as well as the East St. Paul Canadian Legion Woman’s auxiliary. She loved her job as a home care provider and cared for countless people over the years. She will be missed by many.

A memorial service will be held on Friday, October 11 at the Royal Canadian Legion, Branch 215, 215 Maxwell King Drive, East St. Paul at 2:00 p.m.

Donations, in lieu of flowers, can be made to the Royal Canadian Legion Branch 215.

  • Just noticed Anne's obituary in "Press" this Morning, and, Flashes of our past years as "Best Friends" flashed before my eyes..as the years of moving away from each other. Marriage, and Children, Health problems etc...We slowly "almost" Lost track of each other;....but, "Not totally" Anne was always a "Very Loving; Caring, and just plain Wonderful Person... I Wish to extend to ALL of You...Her Daughters and families, Cousins, etc. With my "Deepest, and, Most heartfelt Sympathy" in Your LOSS.. Keep her memory " Close in your hearts" I know I will ..
