HOWARD LOVE
Howard Love passed away peacefully in his sleep on Tuesday, October 8, 2024. He will be lovingly remembered by his wife, Cheryl; son, Mike Love; grandsons, Michael Love Jr. and Mitchell Love; daughter-in-law, Michelle Love; sister, Colleen Pauli; brother-in-law, Bill (Jane) Nicholls; stepdaughter, Debbie (Jerry) Lesage; grandson, Scott (Kayla) Lesage; granddaughter, Tina (Chris) Davis, as well as great-grandchildren, Trielle, Cruz and Cairo.
Howard was predeceased by his parents, Fred and Elizabeth (Betty) Love of Thunder Bay, ON and brother-in-law, John Pauli of Saskatoon, SK.
Howard was a proud member of the RCEME Corps, retiring after 18 years in the military. He then moved to Toronto, ON, where he spent 15 years working as a millwright in the steel industry. Howard developed an interest in natural health and in 1996 he earned his certification as an Iridologist. He further pursued his studies and earned his Master Herbalist qualification and then continued on to become a Doctor of Natural Medicine. He practised in Toronto until he moved back to Manitoba in 2005, where he took a well deserved retirement.
As per Howard’s wishes, there will be no funeral service. A private family gathering will take place at a later date.
In lieu of flowers, donations in memory of Howard may be made to the Shilo Military Family Resource Centre, P.O. Box 5000, Stn Main, Shilo, MB, R0K 2A0 or through their website www.canadahelps.org.shilo or to the Brandon Regional Health Centre Foundation, 150 McTavish Avenue East, Brandon, MB, R7A 2B3.
