ADAM KARL SCHWEITZER

February 15, 1985 -

September 29, 2024

Words cannot express the profound sadness and grief to announce Adam’s unexpected passing.

Adam is survived by his loving mother Patricia, sisters, Carla (Rob) and Erica (Wes), his nephew and nieces as well as extended family members and friends. Adam was predeceased by his father in 2023 and we believe his heart just couldn’t take separation from his best hunting buddy.

Adam loved the outdoors from a young age. He filled many days hunting, fishing, getting occasionally chased by the rooster at the farm, and doing anything to avoid school work. Adam’s charisma and easy-going spirit made him a joy to be around in his youth. As an adult Adam prevailed over the symptoms of his schizophrenia diagnosis by living independently, maintaining family relationships and working a variety of jobs. It was a big accomplishment when Adam earned his GED in 2012.

Adam had a peaceful and generous spirit and now a clear mind too. He was a big part of his family and is dearly missed.

A private interment was held on October 6, 2024, at the Windsor Cemetery in the RM of Rockwood, MB. A come and go Celebration of Life was held in Winnipeg.

We would like to thank Adam’s support team for caring for Adam alongside his family all these years. In Adam’s memory, please consider donating to Harvest, lend a hand where you can, and plan to spend the rest of the day out fishing.
