It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Jack Hugh Steinhoff. Born on March 20, 1953, passed away on Wednesday, October 9, 2024, Ste. Anne Hospital, Ste. Anne, MB., surrounded by family.
He was a cherished husband, father, son, brother, uncle, nephew, cousin and friend. Jack's warmth and generosity touched the lives of many. Jack is predeceased by his mother Isabel Steinhoff, his father Thomas Steinhoff, brother David Steinhoff, sister-in-law June Steinhoff wife of Don, and sister-in-law Donna Steinhoff wife of Bill.
Jack is survived by his wife Susan, son Shannon Steinhoff, daughter-in-law Laura Steinhoff, granddaughter Sydney Steinhoff and grandson Kaiden Steinhoff; daughter Samantha Sivertson and son-in-law Scott Sivertson and grand puppy Ellie Sivertson; his devoted brothers Bill, Don, Tom Steinhoff and sister Sandra Fougere.
Jack will be remembered for his playful spirit and his kind heart, his love of woodworking, carving and playing Texas hold’em. He will be deeply missed by all who knew him.
The Celebration of Life will take place in July of 2025, at Birchwood Funeral Chapel in Steinbach, MB. The exact date and time will be announced at a later date.
