Peacefully, Kathy passed away on October 22, 2024.
She is survived by her husband Ed, her children, Chris (Lolita), Julie (Mike), Andrea (Brett) and Marni (Bryan). She leaves behind six grandchildren, four great-grandchildren, many nieces, nephews, and friends.
Kathy was born in Niagara Falls where she met Ed and they married on September 28, 1957. They settled in Winnipeg in 1962 where they raised their four children. Kathy then worked for many years with Statistics Canada.
Kathy enjoyed travelling, bridge, tap dancing, crafts, golf and time with friends and family. She was very active in the Catholic church, Ed’s Rotary Club and the Crown Jewels.
The family would like to thank the staff at West Park Manor for their care in her final years. Funeral will take place at St. Charles Church on Friday, November 8 at 3:00 p.m.
Remembrances can be made through contributions to the Alzheimer Society of Manitoba.
