Winston A. Morier passed peacefully in his sleep on October 14, 2024. He was born in Singapore on March 21, 1932. Winston is survived by his loving wife Priscilla of 47 years.
He was educated in Singapore, working at TELAMONES COMPANY and at the Singapore Airport. Winston moved to Canada in 1970 and worked at Western Pinero in Winnipeg.
Winston enjoyed trips with his wife Priscilla and volunteering at his church. He loved sports, especially the Winnipeg Jets and the Blue Bombers. Winston also loved a good game of golf with his golf buddies, as he called them. Winston was a survivor of the Japanese War in Singapore in 1945, with his parents and siblings.
He leaves behind sisters, Margaret in England, Shirley, brother-in-law Paul, Carmen Mercer, Janet, brother-in-law Edward; nieces, Renee and Karin; nephews, Leon, Ivan, Paul, Nigel and Roger as well as his close friends.
Winston was predeceased by his parents, David and Mildred Morier; brothers, Mickey and Robin; sister Morraine; brothers-in-law, Harold and Rob; sister Marie and brother-in-law Moses.
Public viewing to be held at Chapel Lawn Funeral Home on Wednesday, October 30, from 3:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m.
