Always glad to work with Donnie, mostly at "The Hump" Symington. I remember his distinctive laugh, and quick to laugh and great smile. A good sense of humour and a good shift coming when I saw he was working. Enjoyed his stories and knowledge of rules, operations as I was younger and inexperienced. Thoughts and prayers to family and friends. David "Budman" Budzey - Posted by: david budzey (co-worker) on: Mar 01, 2025

Worked with Don in the yard and out on the road. You could not work with a better guy. It did not matter if it was 2am or 4am or 14:00 or 21:00, Don can put a smile on his face and yours and made work fun at all times. Whether it was raining or snowing or extremely hot or extremely cold. Don had more seniority than me but never used that to boss me around. Don worked very hard and was more than fair with working outside in all weather. The bottom line was we worked and did not get fired and we retired. - Posted by: Ron Yarema (CNR work friend ) on: Dec 05, 2024
