ELDA REMPEL
Elda passed away Wednesday morning, October 23, 2024, into the loving arms of her Lord and Saviour.
She was predeceased by her parents, Anne and Henry Rempel and five siblings.
She is survived by two brothers.
Elda grew up in Rosenort, Manitoba. At 18 she moved to Winnipeg, to work at King George Hospital. She lived a full life serving others and being a dedicated friend. As many will testify, she was a unique soul loved by her many friends and those who knew her through her business. She was a reflexologist in the last 30 years of her working career and was able to help many with her skillful hands.
She courageously battled cancer for six years. It was only in her last days that she lost the ability to communicate well.
Thanks to her lifelong friends who got to walk life's pathway with her. Thank you to all the nurses that took care of her at Concordia Hospital, St. Boniface Hospital and Health Sciences. Special thanks to Dr. Rimmer and staff at CancerCare.
The funeral will be held on Monday, November 4, 2024, at 10:30 a.m., at Buntain Chapel (beside Calvary Temple), 400 Hargrave Street, Winnipeg, MB.

My husband and I went to Elda’s massage regularly, and she always made us laugh with her quirky sense of humor and her Plautdietsch expressions! My husband’s name is Hardy and she always called us “Hardy and Softy”! She was a healer of both body and soul! I think she’s making the angels laugh now!
