It's with heavy hearts we announce the sudden passing of a beautiful soul, our loving Mother/Memere/Aline, on October 24, 2024, at her Lorray Manor home in Dauphin, MB.
Aline will be forever remembered by her daughter, Jacqueline Thompson (Ken). She was Memere to her cherished grandchildren, Justin (Kirsten) and Karlie (Dallas): along with her great-grandchildren, Jaxson and Jaycee, who were her pride and joy.
She is survived by her brother-in-law, Leo Grouette; and her numerous nephews and nieces who called her Ma Tante.
She was predeceased by her husband, Alain in 2016; her parents, Raoul and Rosa (nee Remilliard); brothers, Ray, Denis and her twin, Alain; her sister (and best friend), Bernice Bayer; brothers-in-law, Richard Bayer, Leo Faucher, Marcel Pattyn; sisters-in-law, Agathe, Cecile and Anna Rochon; as well as Pauline Faucher, Lorraine Grouette and Evelyn Pattyn.
A piece of our family puzzle may be missing, but never forgotten as her memory will live on in our hearts forever.
Respecting her wishes for no funeral, cremation has taken place, and a private family gathering to Celebrate her Life will be held in the Spring.
And on this note…. we will let you go, to Rest in Peace.
