MADELEINE ANDRE

December 2, 1935 - October 28, 2024

It is with great sadness that we announce the peaceful passing of Madeleine André (née Boileau), on October 28, 2024, in Coaticook, Quebec at the age of 88.

She leaves to mourn her sons, Charles (Simon), Jean, and Luc, as well as her daughter Anne-Marie (Robbie), her grandchildren, Max, Nicole, and Thiago, her brothers, Jean-Paul and François, along with her nephews, nieces, and friends.

She was predeceased by her parents Jeanne, (née Ravenelle) and Stanislas Boileau, and her husband Paul André.

Madeleine’s life was marked by her devotion to her family and her warm, friendly smile. She was well-known in Saint-Boniface where she worked alongside her husband Paul at Epicerie André on rue La Vérendrye.

Madeleine’s presence will be deeply missed, but her spirit will live on in the hearts of those who knew and loved her. Mother, grandmother, sister, and friend, rest in peace.

A Celebration of Life will be held on Monday, November 25, 2024, at 11:00 a.m. at Desjardins Funeral Chapel.

  • My deepest condolences to the family. Sending them strength during this difficult time. I have fond memories of the André store down the street and M. et Mme. André. It was a cute little store and a very nice family. May her memory be eternal. - Posted by: Tanya (Pelletier) Apostolopoulos (neighbors, down the street) on: Nov 18, 2024
